Refund Policy

Effective May 14, 2026

1. 14-day free trial

Every new Trade Tracer Pro Subscription includes a 14-day free trial ("Trial"). You will not be charged during the Trial. You may cancel at any time during the Trial; if you cancel before the Trial ends, you owe nothing and no refund is required because no charge will have occurred. Trial benefits and duration are subject to change in accordance with our Terms of Service.

2. Monthly Subscription; no partial refunds

After the Trial ends, your payment method on file will be charged the then-current monthly Subscription fee and on each monthly anniversary thereafter until you cancel. Each billing period entitles you to access the Service for the duration of that billing period.

Because Trade Tracer is a recurring digital service, we do not pro-rate or refund unused portions of a paid billing period. If you cancel partway through a paid month, your Subscription remains active until the end of that billing period and you will not be charged for the next billing period.

Subscription fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes applicable to your jurisdiction.

3. How to cancel

You may cancel your Subscription at any time from your Account page or by emailing blake@tradetracer.io from the email address associated with your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that effective date.

4. Exceptions to no-refund policy

We will issue a refund, at our reasonable discretion, in the following circumstances:

  • Billing errors: duplicate charges, charges in the wrong amount, charges after a verified cancellation, or other billing errors attributable to Trade Tracer or our payment processor.
  • Extended outage: a documented Service outage during which all material paid features were continuously unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours within a single billing period. Refunds in this circumstance are pro-rated to reflect the duration of the outage as a fraction of the billing period.
  • Statutory rights: any refund or cancellation right required by consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction, including without limitation the European Union's distance-selling regulations and the United Kingdom's Consumer Contracts Regulations, to the extent applicable to your transaction.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email blake@tradetracer.io from the email address associated with your account within 60 days of the charge at issue. Include:

  • The approximate date and amount of the charge;
  • The last four digits of the payment-method used;
  • A description of the issue (billing error, outage, statutory right, etc.);
  • Any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, broker statements where relevant).

We will respond within five (5) business days of receipt. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of approval, subject to processing times of your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

If you dispute a Trade Tracer charge with your card issuer or bank without first contacting us, we may suspend or terminate your account during the pendency of the dispute. We always prefer to resolve billing issues directly. If you believe a charge is erroneous, please contact us first so we can investigate and, where appropriate, refund without a chargeback.

7. Force majeure

Trade Tracer is not responsible for refunds in circumstances where Service outages or impairments result from events beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, government action, natural disaster, pandemic, power or telecommunications failure, internet outage, cyberattack, or failure of any third-party service provider.

8. Governing law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, consistent with the governing-law clause of our Terms of Service. Where applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction confers stronger refund rights than those described above, those rights govern to the extent required by law.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address associated with your account when reasonably possible.
